Child Dental Benefits Schedule
FREE DENTAL SERVICES FOR ELIGIBLE CHILDREN AND TEENS
The Child Dental Benefits Schedule provides Medicare funding of $1000 (over two consecutive calendar years) for dental services to eligible children and teens aged 2 to 17.
Your child or teen may be eligible if:
- they are aged 2 to 17
- they are eligible for Medicare, and you or your child are getting Family Tax Benefit Part A or certain other government payments.
Dental services under the scheme are available at our clinic and include:
- check ups
- x-rays
- dental scale and cleans
- fissure sealants to prevent decay
- fillings and restorations
- tooth removal
- root canal treatments
- part dentures and other services
- children's crowns
